A low-cost Counter-UAS interceptor, in active development. This page describes the problem we are attacking and where the work stands. Technical detail is shared under private briefing.
Request a technical briefing →The cost of answering a small drone is currently far higher than the cost of sending one. Until that inverts, defending anything at scale is unaffordable. That is the problem this programme exists to attack.
An attritable Counter-UAS interceptor designed around cost per engagement rather than maximum performance. The design constraint is that losing one should not be a budget event.
Organisations that already carry a drone risk and cannot justify the cost of incumbent systems to answer it. Lawful civilian, public-safety and government applications only.
Stated coarsely on purpose. Dates, test data, and design detail belong in a briefing, not on a public page.
Target cost per engagement established, and the design approach chosen to reach it.
Airframe and subsystem prototyping with our design and manufacturing partners.
Bench and flight testing against the performance envelope the cost model assumes.
Working with manufacturing partners on producibility and repeatable assembly.
Structured evaluation with selected operators under controlled, lawful conditions.
Sourcing, assembly and quality processes fixed and documented.
Timelines and test results are shared under briefing. We will not publish a date we cannot hold.
We work with two design and manufacturing partners. They are not named publicly, and we do not describe sourcing on an open page.
A design that cannot be built repeatably at cost is a research project, not a capability. Producibility is a constraint from the beginning rather than a problem handed to manufacturing at the end.
We are not describing this programme as domestically built. When sourcing and assembly support that claim, we will make it and we will be able to show it. Until then we would rather say less.
For agencies, prospective partners, and investors. Design detail, test results, cost modelling, and timelines are covered under briefing rather than published. Tell us who you are and what you need to evaluate.
